Genotropin, often known as human growth hormone (HGH), is a hormone naturally produced in the human body and released into the bloodstream by the somatotrope cells of the anterior pituitary gland. This hormone is a single-chain protein consisting of 191 amino acids, with an approximate molecular weight of 22,000 Daltons.
